PetrolMonkey allows you to track your fuel usage over time, using data you provide. You are free to remove your fuel-up data at any time.
By submitting, posting or displaying the content, you give PetrolMonkey a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content which you submit, post or display on or through, the service.
The information you provide may be aggregated (and anonymised) and sold to third parties (commercial or government) at a later date.
PetrolMonkey will NEVER charge users to use the site.
By accepting these terms you agree to receive emails from PetrolMonkey regarding the site and it's services.
Privacy Policy
PetrolMonkey take privacy concerns very seriously - we use the site too!
Although fuel usage information may be sold to third parties, the data will be aggregated so that youe individual data will not be identifiable. However if you choose to make your profile public (as opposed to private or only visible to your friends) a summary of your fuel usage may be displayed in public areas of the site.
Your contact details will never be given out or sold to third parties and we will only contact you regarding this site and it's services.
The web server does however log low level information for each request for statistical purposes only. Information logged for each request includes -
- Your IP address
- Date and time
- Page visited
- Referring web page
- Your Web Browser
We will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our web server logs.
When you log in, we set a cookie that identifies you during your session (so that you don't need to log in every time you visit). This cookie will expire when you log out.
